The light colour, measured in Kelvin, plays a major role in choosing the right lighting for a room. A warm light colour of 2,700 Kelvin creates a cosy ambience and is ideal for living spaces such as bedrooms, dining rooms, living rooms or children's rooms. Light with 4,000 Kelvin or more, on the other hand, has a revitalising and concentration-enhancing effect and is therefore suitable for the kitchen, study or workshop.
If you can't decide on a variant or use a room for a variety of purposes, simply choose a luminaire with an adjustable white light colour (tunable white). You can illuminate a room in a particularly extravagant way with LED lamps with adjustable colours (RGBW). In this way, you can set exciting lighting accents with millions of different colours in your living space and create your own individual room lighting.
Do you prefer efficient LED lights but miss the atmospheric warm dimming of light bulbs? Then dim-to-warm lights are just the thing for you. Because with them, the room light not only appears darker when dimmed down, but also warmer.
