Design

Based on the design of the first desk lamp with a spring balancing system, the long-established British company of Anglepoise presents the Original 1227 brass wall light. Its simple elegance is underlined by precious brass components. Furthermore, high gloss surfaces made of varnished steel and aluminium give the Anglepoise Original 1227 brass wall light a touch of noblesse. To top it off, the lamp head and the wall bracket are connected by a woven cable. Thereby, the wall light by George Carwardine functions as a stylish eye-catcher with a lovely retro charm.

Original 1227 brass wall light: needs-oriented zone lighting

Even though, the Anglepoise Original 1227 brass does not have the characteristic spring balancer like the desk lamps of the Original 1227 family, it may be adjusted just as precisely. The head of the wall light may be rotated and pivoted and thereby provides needs-oriented zone light. light11 recommends using a filament LED for the Original 1227 brass. This type of illuminant provide the same beam angle as classic light bulbs while consuming only little energy. In this way, you may turn your wall light by Anglepoise into a real energy saver.
