Design

The Original 1227 wall mounted lamp by Anglepoise offers the same visual benefits like the world-famous desk lamp. This wall lamp also stands for fine British industrial design that greatly enhanced the international reputation of Anglepoise and its creator George Carwardine. The streamlined wall light with the distinctive light head is made of high-quality materials: the shade and the light arms are made of fine aluminium, while the latter impress by a glossy chrome surface finish. The wall bracket is made of cast iron.

The Anglepoise Original 1227 wall mounted lamp is designed true to the original style of the iconic Anglepoise 1227 desk lamp. In 1992, a panel of British industrial designers voted it as their favourite light of all times.

The Original 1227 Wall Light with bracket was designed by George Carwardine for Anglepoise in 2012.

Original 1227 wall mounted lamp – flexibly adjustable light

The Anglepoise Original 1227 wall mounted lamp not only scores points in terms of a distinguished appearance. This elegant designer light also does not disappoint you in terms of the functionality. For instance, the light arms can be conveniently aligned in the direction required by the user. Moreover, the light head may be adjusted in a needs-oriented manner. The result is a focused illumination that complies with the requirements of the user. A spring balancing technology that was sensational for the 1930s makes sure that the light reliably remains in the selected position.

The Original 1227 wall light is supplied without any lamps. The LED retrofits recommended by light11 only require 5 W to produce a luminous flux of 250 lumens.
