Design

The famous industrial designer Sir Kenneth Grange designed the Anglepoise Type 75 desk lamp in 2004 as a reminiscence of the legendary 1227 desk lamp from Anglepoise. This version also impresses by the rough charm of an industrial light: purist design, unobtrusive surface finishes and made of high-quality materials. The most striking difference compared to the original model is manifested in the light head that is slightly more streamlined in the case of the Type 75. The lampshade and the light arms of the Type 75 desk lamp are made of aluminium, the round base is made of cast iron and provided with an aluminium coating.

The design of the Type 75 Desk Lamp was penned by Sir Kenneth Grange who created the Desk lamps in 2004 for the manufacturer Anglepoise.

Type 75 desk lamp – reliable and flexible zone lighting

The Anglepoise Type 75 desk lamp is certainly not inferior in terms of flexible lighting compared to its great model. This desk lamp also brings the zone lighting to where it is required. For this purpose, the user may align the light arms as well as the light head as desired. An intelligent spring balancing system ensures a continuous tension so that the Type 75 desk lamp always securely remains in the selected position.

The scope of supply of the Anglepoise Type 75 desk lamp does not include any lamps. The LED retrofits recommended by light11 only consume 5 W to produce a luminous flux of 250 lumens – this corresponds to the output of a 25 W incandescent lamp.
