The Anglepoise Type 75 Mini Paul Smith Edition desk lamp is a reinterpretation by British star fashion designer Paul Smith of the Type 75 by Sir Kenneth Grange – which in turn is a further development of the legendary 1227 table lamp by George Carwardine. What these desk lamps have in common is their enormous flexibility: both, arms and lamp head, can be aligned, making highly individual lighting possible. What distinguishes one Type 75 Mini Paul Smith Edition from the other is its colour composition: diffuser, arms and holders are kept in summery (Edition One) or autumnal (Edition Two) colours, Edition Three refers to the Dutch artist group De Stijl around the painter Piet Mondrian, who often reduced their works to the three primary colours and non-colours.
The Anglepoise Type 75 Mini Paul Smith Edition is the perfect task light. On a desk, it assists in reading and writing activities with targeted light and thus prevents the eyes from getting tired too quickly.
