Design

The Anglepoise Type 75 wall light is Sir Kenneth Grange’s homage to George Carwardine and his legendary Apex 90 and 1227 table lamps. With the Type 75, Sir Kenneth Grange, design director of Anglepoise and one of the most famous product designers in the UK, has created a luminaire that skilfully follows into the footsteps of these iconic table lamps. Just like its role models, the Type 75 appeals with an elegant design, which manifests in a streamlined, gently curved lamp head. It neither has sharp edges nor unnecessary frills. This way, the wall light by Anglepoise presents itself with a clear, purist appearance, as if cast in one piece. As for the materials, the Type 75 wall light is manufactured from high-quality aluminium and stainless steel.

Designer

The design of the Type 75 Wall light was penned by Sir Kenneth Grange who created this luminaire in 2004 for the manufacturer Anglepoise.

The Anglepoise Type 75 wall light not only stands out for its stylish appearance. Also with regards to flexibility, it meets high demands by means of a lamp head that can be flexibly oriented. This allows for needs-based lighting. Furthermore, the Type 75 wall light is fitted with an E27 socket, which can be equipped with a variety of different illuminants.
