Decent lighting objects for every space – Artemide Cabildo
A design deliberately kept simple is the distinguishing feature
Artemide Cabildo series, which encompasses, besides a pendant light, a floor lamp and a
wall light. Their most striking characteristic: the elegantly curved shape of the head made of die cast aluminium painted white, which provides an interesting interplay between light and shadow.
This impressive lighting effect is demonstrated well by, for example, the
Artemide Cabildo Sospensione. Only the left side of the Cabildo pendant lamp's upper portion is brightly accentuated from the halogen bulb nestled out of sight within the lower portion of the lamp. The right side remains in shadow due to the curve of the lamp, which contradicts the eye's expectation of even brightness. One more optical highlight: The Artemide Cabildo
pendant light forms a subtle wreath of light on the ceiling when it is switched on. There it is reflected and spread evenly in a space like a dining room, where the Cabildo acts both as an attractive eye catcher and harmonious room lighting. The
Artemide Cabildo is also ideal for the illumination of corridors and other entrance areas.
The floor lamp Artemide Cabildo Terra is also impressive not least for its elegant design and the harmonious, indirect ambient light. An integrated dimmer ensures an individual adjustment of the lighting intensity to any personal need of illumination. Thanks to its nicely reduced appearance and the pleasant lighting effect, this floor lamp shows off to its best advantage as a bright general lighting in living, eating and sleeping areas. Due to its high light yield, this lamp by
Artemide is an ideal working light too. It integrates smoothly into the living space and works both as a decent lighting object and appealing decoration.
The
Artemide Cabildo Parete Halo wall light represents stylish, dynamic design for the wall. It also scores high through a decorative wreath of light that provides effective accentuation. The environment gets evenly illumination over the light dispersion. The Cabildo wall sconce is used in a bedroom as well as in the living dining and working room or a corridor.
br> Additional information on the designer: Eric Solé has conceived the Cabildo series for Artemide. The French designer once said: “A beautiful lamp should be something alive. It should speak with us, give us illumination and comfort when it’s dark. My concepts are about this magic.“
