Design

An almost artistic, refined design represented by a uniquely curved shape is the distinguishing feature of the Mesmeri Parete from Artemide. Thus, this wall light is able to hide an illuminant, a hammered aluminium reflector and a satin-finished glass cover in the curved part of the light fixture – the viewer almost tends to search for the illuminant. The Artemide Mesmeri is available in white, silver or with a matt or a glossy chrome finish. The wall lamp was honoured with multiple design awards: its innovative design was penned by Eric Solé and it received, amongst other things, the IF Product Design Award, the Red Dot Award and the Good Design Award.

The elegantly shaped luminaire body of the Mesmeri Parete wall lights is made of high-quality die-cast aluminium. This makes it extraordinarily stable and durable. "Mesmeri" is related to the term "mesmerise" which, for instance, means that something is hypnotising or capturing the complete attention – which aptly describes the effect of this lighting object.

The Mesmeri Parete Halo was designed by Eric Solé for Artemide in 2005.

Mesmeri Parete Halo – glare-free ambient lighting

The Artemide Mesmeri Parete Halo emits soft, warm-white light upwards and downwards which is then reflected by the wall and diffused into the environment as soft, absolutely glare-free ambient lighting. This way, the designer light produces a harmonious illumination – without creating the characteristic dazzling spot of light on the wall that is typical for many wall lights. The light source of this Halo version is included in the scope of supply; it ensures a light output of 5,000 lumens and an optimum brilliant colour rendering of Ra=100.
