The Artemide Miconos Soffitto is not only a ceiling light but also a dreamlike combination of minimalist design and tried-and-tested functionalism that puts itself as well as its surrounding area in the limelight. The Artemide Miconos designed by mastermind Ernesto Gismondi slightly reminds us of a classic candy jar that we used to see in every small corner shop in the good old days. Those who take a closer look will see that the Miconos Soffitto ceiling light is much more – a piece of art made of chrome-plated and polished metal with a clear, hand-blown glass shade that provides you insights into the inside of the light. Due to the plain design the Miconos Soffitto does without any unnecessary vying for attention and exactly thereby captivates the viewer.

Miconos Soffitto – diffuse light

The Artemide Miconos Soffitto stops being reserved as soon as it is switched on and then it emits pure light through the clear glass and diffuses it in all directions of the room. This way, this ceiling light ensures a balanced illumination of the room. light11 recommends equipping this luminaire with fluorescent lamps. These lamps stand for low power requirements and simultaneously a high luminous efficacy. The E27 socket also allows the use of LED retrofit lamps.
