Design

The Artemide Onfale Tavolo is a masterpiece of craftsmanship. The body of the table lamp is made of hand-blown opal glass with a brim made of transparent crystal glass. This combination of different glass types into a seamless whole is an exemplary proof of the exquisite crafting skills of Artemide’s glassblowing workshops. However, the Italian designer Luciano Vistosi contributed as well to the splendid design of the table lamp by Artemide. He is known as an expert in elaborate glass art, where he continuously explores the limits of what is possible. Thus, the mushroom-shaped Onfale Tavolo effortlessly functions as an elegant highlight and source of subdued mood light in any interior.

The design of the Onfale Tavolo grande was penned by Luciano Vistosi who created the table lamp in 1978 for the manufacturer Artemide.

Onfale Tavolo: soft mood light with separately controllable light sources

The Artemide Onfale Tavolo exudes softly diffused light in all directions. Thanks to the opal diffuser, the emitted light is distributed evenly throughout the room. The table lamp is equipped with two lamp sockets, with one E14 socket being located inside the base, and one E27 socket being fitted directly under the lampshade. These may be equipped with modern LED retrofit lamps if desired. Furthermore, the Onfale Tavolo by Artemide comes with a pre-installed dimmer. By means of a switch located on the power cord, you may switch and dim each light source individually.
