The Pirce Soffitto from Artemide combines a light show and supreme design art in such a masterful way that the viewer inevitably asks itself: is this still a ceiling light or already a piece of art? The Artemide Pirce Soffitto received the Red Dot Award for its unequalled design. The typical spiral-shaped look does not fail to have the desired effect. The body of the ceiling lamp is cut from a single aluminium disc by means of a laser. Only this allows the innovative shape of the ceiling light from Artemide to be created which reminds us of the rings of Saturn. Thanks to the specific shape, a permanent movement is suggested that excellently emphasises the delicate character of the Pirce. This way, this lighting solution turns into an unparalleled eye-catcher that impressively reflects the leitmotif of Giuseppe Maurizio Scutellà: "A technological lighting appliance has a soul, suggests a story, is often a poem without written verses."

Pirce Soffitto ceiling lights: harmonious ambient lighting

The Artemide Pirce Soffitto is operated using an R7s halogen rod. By means of this illuminant which is hidden in a small half shell, the ceiling lamp emits its light upwards. On its way towards the ceiling, it is artistically reflected into the room by the ring-shaped stripes. This way, the Pirce Soffitto produces indirect, ideally glare-free ambient lighting – including wonderful light and shadow effects on the wall and the ceiling. The ceiling lamp from Artemide may be equipped with an external dimmer in order to be able to individually adjust the light intensity.
