Tolomeo Tavolo - an icon in desk lighting
The Tolomeo Tavolo is the centrepiece of the luminaire family and is regarded as the prototype of functional desk lighting. Then as now, this design classic provides flexible, directable light at the workplace.
The famous Artemide Tolomeo Tavolo is now available not only with a classic socket, but also with an efficient LED module. These also include table lamps with adjustable light colour, allowing you to adjust the colour temperature to your liking. The product family also includes particularly space-saving versions such as lights with table clamps or screw fixings.
Tolomeo Mega - the eye-catcher in your dining and living room
The Tolomeo Mega range owes its name to the large shades. With a diameter of up to 52 cm, the conical shades make them the largest version of the Tolomeo lights. Available in satin or parchment, they provide extensive zone lighting.
The product family includes pendant, wall, floor and table lamps. With the exception of the pendant lights, they are all equipped with the practical Tolomeo articulated arm. This allows you to adjust the light individually.

How can I recognise an original Tolomeo luminaire?

The Artemide logo is embossed on the underside of the lamp base.

A transparent sticker with black lettering is emblazoned on the articulated arm.

The manufacturer's logo is also embossed at the end of the joint.

Another sticker adorns the lower part of the lamp head.

Can I convert a Tolomeo to LED?
Retrofitting is possible with all Tolomeo products. Artemide Tolomeo remains true to its guiding principle: a continuous process of further development. This also includes the light source, which can be easily replaced with a filament lamp - provided the base is compatible.
We recommend light sources with good colour rendering and good light colour, e.g. Tala A60-dim 6W/m 927, E27 LED for E27 and Tala C35-dim 4W/m 927, E14 LED for E14.
To summarise: the conversion is worthwhile. LED light sources are generally more efficient, have a longer service life and are in no way inferior to incandescent lamps in terms of light quality and appearance.
Can I turn a table lamp into a floor lamp?
It is possible to convert a Tolomeo table lamp into a floor lamp, as the construction kit is modular. All you need is the rod and the base of the Tolomeo Terra. Discover the originalspare partsfrom our online shop and transform your Tolomeo Tavolo, Mini Tavolo or Micro Tavolo into a floor lamp.
