Design

The Tolomeo Faretto LED from Artemide is an energy-efficient new edition of the halogen wall lamp that bears the same name. The elegant and simultaneously functional design of the Artemide Tolomeo Faretto LED wall lights is an enrichment for every interior design concept. The design icon Michele De Lucchi created this LED version in cooperation with Giancarlo Fassina in 2010. The special highlight for all design aficionados is the contrast between the satin-finished, velvety surface of the light head and the glossy polished aluminium surface of the wall bracket.

Tolomeo Faretto LED – pioneer in terms of flexibility

A total of five powerful LED lamps – of which four supply direct and one supplies indirect lighting – are located in the Artemide Tolomeo Faretto LED. They together only need a power input of 10 watts to achieve a light output of 410 lumens. This means that this energy-efficient version offers the same brightness as a 40 W incandescent lamp. However, the Tolomeo Faretto wall light from Artemide is not only energy-saving and therefore a sustainable product. It also plays a pioneering role in terms of flexibility. For instance, the lampshade can be rotated in all directions by means of the practical handle in order to direct the light onto the area to be illuminated in a target-oriented manner – without burning one’s fingers when touching the warm shade. The icing on the cake: thanks to a small opening on the light head, a touch of ambient lighting is emitted towards the ceiling.
