The Tolomeo Mega Sospensione pendant light from Artemide is a timelessly elegant light source that combines form and functionality and thereby creates a defining piece of light art. Being a member of the award-winning Tolomeo product series, this aesthetic pendant light seems to be majestically floating, thanks to the filigree suspension that also serves to supply this luminaire with power. Thus, you will not find any separate cable. The charming lampshade of the Artemide Tolomeo Mega Sospensione is made of beige-coloured parchment paper or white satin and it is available with a diameter of 42 cm or 52 cm. Furthermore, the Tolomeo Mega Sospensione is manufactured using high-quality materials such as aluminium and transparent injection-moulded methacrylate.

The Tolomeo Mega Sospensione light was designed by Michele De Lucchi and Giancarlo Fassina in 2011 for Artemide.

Tolomeo Mega Sospensione – lighting effect depending on the shade selected

The Artemide Tolomeo Mega Sospensione pendant light primarily emits its cosily bright light downwards. In doing so, the lampshade discreetly shimmers. However, the choice of the lampshade not only has an effect on the look but also on the lighting effect: the satin shade of the Artemide Tolomeo Mega Sospensione has an aluminium grey colour while it is switched off; as soon as the light is switched on, however, the shade looks almost white and therefore a dynamically bright light is supplied. The parchment version makes the light look slightly ochre so that a pleasantly warm illumination is ensured.
