For the exterior design of our new house, we were searching for a high-quality exterior wall light. After doing some research, we chose the BEGA 33581 and bought it at light11.de at a top price. The light fitting fully meets our expectations for a high-quality product. Already when unpacking the luminaire, we noticed its heavy weight, which indicates a high manufacturing quality. And it is indeed excellently manufactured and well protected against rain water. We chose the colour anthracite, which looks very elegant on a white plaster façade. The wall light is also available in the colours white and silver. The paint itself conveys the impression of best quality, as well, which is why we assume that the luminaire will remain a beautiful sight for a long time despite sun, wind and rain. With cheap lights, you can already see obvious discolorations after only a few years. Thus, its high price is justified by its long service life. Furthermore, BEGA guarantees a long-term availability of spare parts, which is an important criterion if the luminaire gets damaged through vandalism or becomes defective. What is also important is that the luminaire emits warm light with 3,000 K. Cold light looks obtrusive and little homely at night (rather like in a public or industrial area). We chose a light intensity of 10 watts, which is nearly equal to a 75 watts incandescent lamp. In the exterior area, this is already a quite powerful light source in the dark. At our house, it illuminates a yard very well. If you want to light smaller areas, you should opt for a weaker variant. What is great, as well, is that BEGA offers various light fittings that can be combined thanks to matching colours and light temperatures.
