Design

The core piece of the unobtrusive Bega 89010 ceiling / wall light is the high-quality glass body that encloses the light source. The hand-blown, silk-matt opal glass of this light is produced by . The designs of the German high-quality manufacturer make the eponymous material the protagonist of the creation: glass made by Bega.

The glass body of the Bega 89010 ceiling / wall light is hand-blown using lead-free, brilliant opal glass. By means of a so-called sliding bolt closure, the glass body is attached to the lamp frame made of die-cast aluminium. This closure ensures a save and shock-resistant installation of the glass component. For this purpose, the glass is simply positioned into the intended holder and tightened with a rotating movement. It can be removed just as easy, so that replacing the lamp or cleaning this ceiling light is a particularly easy task.

89010 ceiling / wall light – for a uniform illumination

The light of the Bega 89010 ceiling / wall light softly and uniformly emits its light into the room. This way, a harmonious illumination is created within the room. In accordance with protection type IP44, this wall lamp is protected against the ingress of foreign bodies with a diameter of up to 1 mm as well as against splashing water from all directions. It is possible to equip the Bega 89010 ceiling / wall light with a lamp provided with an E27 screw base and a maximum power of 75 watts. We recommend using a halogen lamp of the type QA60 which requires a power input of 57 watts to achieve a luminous efficacy of 915 lumens. The light colour is warm-white with a colour temperature of 2,800 Kelvin. Alternatively, it is recommended to use energy-saving fluorescent lamps that only require a power input of 15 watts and therefore is good for the household budget. Corresponding lamps are available with a warm-white and a neutral-white light colour.

The 89010 ceiling / wall light impresses by its flexibility when it comes to application context. The light can either be used as a ceiling light or as a wall light. With its elegant appearance and the excellent lighting properties it is ideally suited to supply ambient lighting in halls and staircases. Since it is designed in accordance with protection type IP44, the Bega 89010 may also be used in wet areas.
