Lederam embodies to perfection the qualitative and aesthetic standards of Catellani & Smith. The family business is synonymous with Italian craftsmanship and manufactures its lamps on site in Bergamo. The Lederam family, which comes from company founder Enzo Catellani himself, is no exception. It captivates with its noble, partly extravagant design and the first-class lighting effect. The figurehead of the product family are very thin, hand-made spherical segments of aluminum. These are either painted black or white or covered with refined leaf metal foil in gold or copper.
Lederam spoils with indirect and therefore glare-free light. The spherical segments reflect the light, which is emitted by smaller, also very flat spherical segments with integrated LED module. This creates a beguiling lighting effect, especially in luminaires with gold or copper-colored metal fittings. In others, the light shines towards the wall or ceiling, where it is also reflected.
The Lederam family is very large and includes ceiling and wall lights as well as pendant, floor and table lamps, many of them adjustable. Their very flat designs are made possible by the modern LED modules with their extremely compact design. They are installed in such a way that they can be easily replaced by a specialist, should they reach the end of their life after a very long time.
Lederam ceiling lights provide you with indirect room light and also act as a noble eye-catcher in the room. Depending on the variant, they have one or two small spherical segments with LED module. From there, the light shines either to the reflector or to the ceiling, where it is reflected back into the room. Because the small spherical segments are movable, you can influence the incidence of light and create individual lighting scenarios.
You can get the ceiling lights in various designs, which differ from each other in size, among other things. They serve as cozy, glare-free room lighting in the living or dining room or make your entrance area more comfortable with their atmospheric light.
Wall lights make up a large part of the Lederam family. Some consist of a tilting spherical segment, which allows you to influence the incidence of light. Particularly ingenious are Lederam wall lights, which are composed of two segments arranged one behind the other. Here, the front of the two can be tilted and rotated, resulting in different beam angles and reflections depending on the orientation. Some constellations even resemble a solar eclipse. Other Lederam wall lamps have one or two filigree lamp arms, each with a small LED light source, which you can also align.
With the wall lamps you create an extremely atmospheric lighting in your living spaces and create a cozy ambience.
Tip: If you arrange several lights next to each other on the wall and turn and tilt the front ball segments differently, you will achieve unique lighting scenarios that will take your breath away.
