Unique structure giving off mood and brightness: Catellani & Smith Stchu-Moon
The wide range of
Stchu-Moon comprises opulent and exciting lamps which provide atmospheric light and act as unmistakable design objects.
Thanks to wonderful light reflections, wall, ceiling, pendant lights as well as floor and ground lamps make for magical moments in the living area. The
Catellani & Smith Stchu-Moon 07 wall light is a precious designer luminaire in gold or silver manufactured by hand. Once illuminated, it shines like a bright shining celestial body, depending on the chosen version. The gold lamp produces a light that is more closely related to sunlight, while the silver luminaire gives off a light similar to that of the moon. Latter version seems like a miniature model of the Earth satellite with its characteristic mountains and craters. The nickel plated Flex arm illuminates the uneven surface of the
wall light and baths the setting in smoothly reflected mood lighting, which, for example, proves ideal in a living room.
An interesting variation of the sconce is represented by the
Catellani & Smith Stchu-Moon 05: Here, a slim, upright oval sets free countless glistening reflections and gives wall a festive atmosphere. The pendant light Catellani & Smith Stchu-Moon 02 (available in diameters 60 and 40 cm) unfolds its magical effect from a ceiling. It is composed of a black, half-spherical lighting body with gold or silver plated, relief-shaped, interior structure and is also a real unicum, since it is made by hand.
Stuch-Moon 02 pendant light illuminates a table in the kitchen or the dining room as skilfully as a coffee table in the living room, spreading a special flair in the room. An exciting modification of a classic hanging lamp: The
Catellain & Smith Stchu-Moon 03 is an attractive exe catcher that allow you to adjust both height and angle of the lampshade by means of a four meter steel rope. An anvil on the floor makes for reliable fixation. This lamp may be applied over or beside a chair or sofa, which are immersed into the zone lighting of the Stchu-Moon pendant lamp and turned into cosy oases of light.
A roughly structured surface is also the distinguishing element of the Catellani & Smith Stchu-Moon 09
floor lamp. With its iron waxed exterior this work of art two meters high brings tasteful extravaganza into the room. The light source that is responsible for the indirect lighting scenario is concealed by a spoon-shaped bracket that is mounted in a small satellite just in front of the illuminated surface. An additional candle holder, which can easily be removed, adds atmosphere.
The ground light
Catellani & Smith Stchu-Moon 01 is a further member of this luminaire family. This fixture atmospherically illuminates the floor in a living room or bedroom. The half spherical composition of aluminium and steel evokes associations with sparkling luminaries with a sure taste for style and very soon becomes the centre of your decoration. Like all
Catellani lamps, Stchu-Moon lights are delivered inclusive illuminants.
