The DCWéditions In The Sun 190 wall light is a luminaire with a history: Dominique Perrault and Gaëlle Lauriot-Prévost were commissioned to renovate the Dufour Pavilion in the Château de Versailles complex. In the process, they decided to design a luminaire that alludes to the wavy lace collars of former French kings. DCWéditions's In The Sun 190 wall light "wears" such a collar, but made of high-quality metal with a noble surface. It forms the lamp housing and is attached to a stainless steel disc that acts as a wall bracket.
When the DCWéditions In The Sun 190 wall light is switched on, the collar of this wall lamp functions as a diffuser that reduces glare and softly distributes light in all directions. What is more, beautiful light-dark patterns form on the wall. In The Sun 190 wall lights are often used in corridors, where they provide room lighting and score as decorative eye-catchers.
