Design

With the DCWéditions In The Tube 100-350 wall light, the architect Dominique Perrault and designer Gaëlle Lauriot‑Prévost have imagined a designer light that is reminiscent of light fixtures of long gone days, radiating an inimitably nostalgic aura. In contrast to its old-fashioned appearance, the In The Tube 100-350 wall light is made from state-of-the-art materials. It consists of a tube made from high-quality borosilicate glass which houses a moveable stainless steel reflector as well as a mesh for an even light distribution. Furthermore, the wall light by the French designer label DCWéditions is supplied with fixtures made from stainless steel, and the two black caps that cover both ends of the tube consist of aluminium sealed in silicon. The DCWéditions In the Tube 100-350 is the smallest variant of the series, in the light11 shop you will also find larger variants as well as a pendant light version.

The In The Tube 100-500 Wall Light was designed by Gaëlle Lauriot-Prévost and Dominique Perrault for DCW.

In The Tube 100-350 wall light – harmonious and flexible light

The DCWéditions In The Tube 100-350 wall light diffuses soft and evenly distributed light, creating particularly harmonious lighting. Nuances in the lighting effect depend on the chosen design: silver reflectors and mesh filters provide a neutral light, while gold variants lend the light a particularly warm, very cosy character. Since the reflector is movable, the light direction of the In The Tube 100-350 wall light can also be variably adjusted. Furthermore, this wall lamp can be mounted both horizontally and vertically. For the mounting a direct connection is necessary, as there is no mains plug. Furthermore, the In the Tube is suitable for outdoor use: according to protection class IP64, it is dustproof and protected against splashing water.
