Design

The Fabbian Saya pendant light 31 cm is proof of elaborate craftsmanship. The pendant lamp is manufactured in an artful process in which mouth-blown glass is expertly fitted into a metal cage by hand. For this demanding process, traditional glass workshops in Murano near Venice are commissioned. The manual production causes minimal differences in the glass, which proves the unique character of each Saya. The pendant lights were designed by Gio Minelli and Marco Fossati for Fabbian. The two Italians were inspired by a journey between West and East and the associated cultural impressions. Therefore, the Fabbian Soya pendant light, here in a narrow 31 cm version, is also a metaphor for an East-West connection. In addition to this model, you can also get the 40 and 48 cm versions in our shop.

Saya pendant light 31 cm – fascinating room light

The lighting effect of the Fabbian Saya is by no means inferior to the visual appeal. The internal light source is not surrounded by a reflector, thus radiating its light freely in all directions. The mouth-blown glass diffuser provides appropriate glare control in order to ensure wonderfully soft lighting. In addition, fascinating light-dark transitions are created when the light touches the metal rods. Saya pendant lights are supplied without lamps. An E27 light source is required for operation, light11 recommends using an energy-efficient LED filament lamp. With its retro look, this underlines the slightly nostalgic appearance of the Fabbian Saya. If you opt for a halogen lamp, you will enjoy particularly authentic light.
