Spherical mood light for cozy evenings indoors and outdoors
"I like that Bolleke is at home anywhere. It invites you to dream and experiment."Designer Nathalie Schellekens on her design
Fatboy Bolleke – timeless, portable all-rounder
The Fatboy Bolleke is your bullet-round everyday companion. On the practical loop, which is available in different colors, hang the lamp where you need light. Thanks to the integrated rechargeable battery, it does not need a cable. In a tree, on the railing or the curtain rod in the living room – the Bolleke is always ready for use in any place without further aids. If you do not have a mounting option outside above your table or picnic blanket, simply stretch a rope over the surface or place the light directly on the table surface or the floor.
The bolleke will give you up to 24 hours of warm white light at low light levels. At full light intensity, you will enjoy the soft light, which radiates in all directions, for up to 6 hours. You can regulate the light intensity practically at the lamp head. A USB port allows you to conveniently recharge the lamp after use.
The design comes from the pen of Nathalie Schellekens. For the design of the multifunctional lamp she was inspired by clips, which are used on sailboats. In this way, she created a product that is inspired by practical use and reintegrated into everyday life elsewhere.
Designer Nathalie Schellekens – inspired by everyday life
Nathalie Schellekens, born in the Netherlands, started her own business after graduating from the Design Academy in Eindhoven and founded her own studio ONS (Ontwerpstudio Nathalie Schellekens). Inspired by everyday life, she designs products that are both timeless and contain intelligent details. The focus of her designs is on usability. They simplify everyday life while adding a pretty accent to space and nature. Collaborating with different people and brands is of great importance to the designer – thus her motto: "We create more than I do".
Her collaboration with Fatboy is based on three commonalities: a preference for conical shapes, a playful approach, and a desire to put a smile on people's faces.
