Fatboy Edison the Grand – elegant floor lamps for indoor and outdoor areas

The tall floor lamp by the Dutch outdoor specialist Fatboy presents itself as an oversized table lamp with a classically cone-shaped lampshade. Upon switching on the light, the entire luminaire bursts into light and supplies the surrounding area with atmospheric light. The Fatboy Edison the Grand is equipped with modern LED technology, its light intensity can be adjusted in three steps to suit your personal requirements.

Whether as an atmospheric light source in outdoor areas or as effective light sculpture in a modern design concept, for instance, as mood light in the living area – the Edison the Grand cuts a great figure everywhere. Thanks to an eight-metre long connecting cable with protective contact plug, this floor light is additionally suitable for mobile use and can be placed wherever atmospheric lighting is required. By the way: the name Fatboy Edison the Grand is a tribute to the inventor of the incandescent lamp, Thomas Edison.

The Fatboy Edison the Grand is manufactured from resistant materials and is optimally suited to resist adverse weather conditions. The surfaces are manufactured from the plastic material polyethylene and are not only UV-resistant but also dirt-repellent and water-repellent. Moreover, the Edison the Grand can be cleaned in a particularly easy way: simply wipe off the surfaces using lukewarm water and soap – and ready you are. Fatboy integrated an aluminium plate in the base that ensures a secure footing. Furthermore, all materials used can be easily recycled.

With a height of 90 cm and a diameter of 60 cm at the point of the shade’s largest width the Fatboy Edison the Grand is a design object of considerable size. Thanks to its total weight of about 13 kg, this floor lamp does not easily lose its balance. Edison the Grand is designed according to protection type IP55 and is thus protected against the ingress of a harmful amount of dust as well as water jets from any angle.
