Fatboy Edison the Medium – sculptural table lamps for indoor and outdoor areas

The child sandwiched in the middle: the Fatboy Edison the Medium is not a medium claiming to be in contact with the spirits of the dead but the medium-sized version of the elegant outdoor light family Edison. The sculptural table lamp thereby closes the gap between the tall Edison the Grand floor lamp and the smallest family member Edison the Petit. Just like its siblings, this creation by Fatboy can be used indoors as well as outdoors. Thanks to the three metre long connection cable with a Schuko plug, these luminaires can be used as portable lights.

Even though the Edison the Medium light was created according to the classic design language of a table lamp and has a conical shaped shade, it surprises us with its lighting effect: as soon as it is switched on the entire luminaire body starts shimmering softly. Equipped with efficient LED technology the Fatboy Edison the Medium supplies unobtrusive lighting, which is ideally suited, for instance, as mood lighting for the living room or as an effective light source in outdoor areas, e.g. on the terrace or the balcony.
 

Fatboy – elegant & durable outdoor lights

Fatboy Edison the Medium is operated by means of LED modules that only require a power input of five watts to produce a light intensity of 211 lumens. The table lamp supplies pleasant, warm-white light with a colour temperature of 2,700 Kelvin. The brightness of the LED can be adjusted in three steps. For an easy operation, Fatboy supplies a remote control in bright red which can be used to control the Edison the Medium from a distance of up to 10 metres.

The Dutch manufacturer Fatboy is known as the expert for high-quality and elegant outdoor products. The Edison the Medium shows the usual Fatboy quality features in terms of material quality and workmanship. The surfaces made of polyethylene are UV-resistant as well as dirt-repellent and water-resistant. For cleaning, slightly lukewarm water and some soap are sufficient. Thanks to protection class IP 55, the Fatboy Edison the Medium is protected against the ingress of dust that might have a harming effect as well as water jets from any angle, which makes it the optimum choice for use in outdoor areas.
