Design

Already in 1973, the Italian designer Paolo Rizzatto created the elegant 265 for Flos. Thanks to its pivotable hinged arm that allows for a direct, precisely directed lighting, this wall light is considered as an absolute design classic. The reflector, the wall bracket and the arm are made of wet-painted steel and the reflector support consists of chrome-plated brass. The cone-shaped counterbalance made of cast iron securely keeps the Flos 265 in the respectively chosen position. This way, the wall lamp turns into an extravagant eye-catcher that also stands out for its special functionality.

The design of the 265 was penned by Paolo Rizzatto who created the Reading lights in 1973 for the manufacturer Flos.

265 wall lights: customised zone lighting – also for decentralised spots

The Flos 265 offers flexibly adjustable zone lighting. Owing to the large pivot range of its arm, the light can be taken to the required position within a radius of approximately 180 cm even from an offset position. The wall light can be equipped with a halogen light bulb with a power of up to 75 watts. By means of such an illuminant, the 265 from Flos provides for brilliant illumination with a pleasant light colour. Furthermore, this wall light can also be operated using an LED retrofit. This way, it turns into a real energy saver that reduces the energy costs.

It can be conveniently attached, for instance, to the wall in the dining room if you wish for a refreshing and unconventional lighting solution. Here, the rotatable and pivotable reflector of the wall light allows for an illumination of the dining table that is accurate to the point. Moreover, the 265 from the Italian light manufacturer Flos impresses by its beautifully delicate design which makes this light source look gracefully.
