Design
The small Flos Glo-Ball Mini T measures only 12 cm. This makes the table lamp the smallest representative of the Glo-Ball family. However, just like the others, it is equipped with an elegant mouth-blown shade made of opal glass. This turns the Glo-Ball Mini T into a timeless eye-catcher that can be placed practically anywhere. The base of the table lamp from the Italian manufacturer Flos, made of fibreglass-reinforced polyamide, has a soft non-slip rubber coating on its underside. Like all designs by Jasper Morrison, the Glo-Ball Mini T is characterised by its timeless appearance and versatility.

The design of the Glo-Ball Mini T was penned by Jasper Morrison who created the Table lamps in 2004 for the manufacturer Flos.
Glo-Ball Mini T: soft mood light
The Flos Glo-Ball Mini T emits a soft mood light. This is emitted in all directions, creating a cosy atmosphere. In this way, the Glo-Ball Mini T creates an atmospheric island of light that invites you to relax. The integrated switch on the supply line makes it easy to operate the Flos table lamp. For brilliant and warm light, light11 recommends equipping the table lamp with a G9 halogen lamp.
Everyone who likes the Glo-Balls, will love the Minis : )
I ordered two of these Mini Glo-Balls and – just like with all the other Glo-Ball versions I know – I come to the conclusion that the glass used for the Glo-Balls is one of the best opal glass I have ever seen in the lighting industry. For this, I would always express my praise to Flos.
However, there are further important items when buying the Mini Glo-Balls, which I would like to describe.
Flos integrates a black cable with a black dimmer in all dimmable Glo-Balls (that’s a matter of taste. I would prefer a white-coloured cable). Moreover, the dimmer of each Glo-Ball has an integrated coloured glow lamp/LED that flashes constantly when the light is switched off. The colour of the glow lamps is not always the same and varies depending on the model (I have arranged 4 differently sized pieces to form a group, here the colour varies from green to orange and red).
Taking a look at the 2 Mini Glo-Balls I purchased, I realised that the manufacturing quality of the base is not nearly as high as the quality of the glass. Without a doubt, you can live with that but I thought that such a high-end product would have an almost perfect quality in this respect.
However, I already noticed that Flos shows certain tolerances in terms of the manufacturing quality taking a look at different Flos lights.
Now, I have a further positive aspect: the dimmer functions well and upon briefly pressing the button it not only switches off the light but it also quickly dims the light down. A quite beautiful and amusing effect.
Now an evaluation of the retailer: A+! The entire service was awesome, the delivery time could hardly be any shorter and the staff members are very friendly and always ready to help.
To sum up (my personal impression):

Important: in order not to lose the homogenous lighting effect of the amazing glass body of the Glo-Balls, I would definitely recommend using a matt illuminant.Everyone who likes the Glo-Balls, will love the Minis : )

Glo-Ball Mini T – table lamps for atmospheric light oases
The Glo-Ball Mini T provides soft and diffuse lighting wherever it is used.
