Design

The IC Lights C/W2 ceiling light created by the Cypriot star designer Michael Anastassiades, which may also be used as a wall light, impresses by a refined design: a hand-blown opal glass shade hangs down on a rectangular construction without showing any visible connection so that it looks like an object that is seemingly floating in the air – this means that the Flos IC Lights C/W2 evokes astonishment and admiration among the viewers. In addition to opal glass, selected materials such as brass and steel are also used for the manufacture of the IC Lights C/W2 ceiling lamp.

Designer

Michael Anastassiades designed the IC Lights C/W2 for the manufacturer Flos in 2014.

IC Lights C/W2 – diffuse, cosy ambient lighting

The Flos IC Lights C/W2 produces harmonious ambient lighting in all directions. Here, the opal surface of the glass provides for a good glare control and a particularly soft emission of light. Thanks to its diffuse light, the IC Lights C/W2 creates a pleasant ambience within the room. For the operation of this ceiling light, an illuminant with an E27 base is required. For this purpose, light11 recommends using a halogen lamp. This type of lamps is known for warm-white light with a brilliant colour rendering.

Ceiling lights for the living room and the bedroom

If the Flos IC Lights C/W2 wall and ceiling light is equipped with the lamps recommended by us, it will not only provide (even larger) halls with uniform ambient lighting but also the living room.
