The extraordinary Flos IC Lights F1 seems to have fallen out of time: taking a look at the sphere made of opal glass and the clear design language of the metal components, this light might be an object from the Bauhaus era. The robust steel frame of the IC Lights F1 is available in various surface finishs. The shade of the floor lamp is made of hand-blown glass that is manufactured and refined as part of a traditional procedure. The floor lamp is a creation by the Cypriot designer Michael Anastassiades. When creating this light he was inspired by a juggler that he observed in the streets of Paris. He was balancing glass spheres over his arms and finger tips. Anastassiades transferred this effect onto the IC Lights F1 from the Italian light manufacturer Flos.
