Design

The Flos IC Lights S1 comes in a Bauhaus design language. With a clear shape and a glass sphere, this light reminds us of the objects of the Bauhaus era. The hand-blown satin-finished glass sphere of the IC Lights S1 seems to be magically floating on the steel frame since the connection can hardly be seen at first sight. Moreover, the pendant light is available in two versions: with a brass or an anthracite surface finish. The pendant light from Flos is a creation by the Cypriot designer Michael Anastassiades. When creating the IC Lights S1 he was inspired by a juggler who skilfully balanced a sphere over his hands.

The design of the IC Lights S1 was penned by Michael Anastassiades who created this luminaire in 2014 for the manufacturer Flos.
