Design

The Flos IC Lights T1 Low presents itself as an effective fusion of an art object and a light source. Filigree metal components, a sober design language and a sphere-shaped diffuser made of hand-blown glass clearly remind us of the Bauhaus aesthetics. A particular highlight of this table lamp’s design is the almost invisible connection to the opal glass shade. This makes the glass sphere look like it was almost weightlessly floating in front of the body. The frame of the IC Lights T1 Low from the Italian light manufacturer Flos is made of steel. It is available with different finishes. When designing this fascinating table lamp Michael Anastassiades was inspired by a juggler that he observed who let the glass spheres float over his arms and finger tips.

IC Lights T1 Low table lamps: atmospheric light

Due to the opal glass body, the light of the Flos IC Lights T1 Low is softly and uniformly emitted into the surrounding area and thereby a pleasant atmosphere within the room is ensured. Thanks to its diffuse emission of light, the table lamp suffuses its environment with charming light that can be controlled by means of the integrated dimmer on the supply line. This way, the IC Lights T1 Low always supplies the required light intensity. light11 recommends using a halogen lamp for this table light. This kind of lamps ensures an excellent lighting quality with a brilliant colour rendering and pleasantly warm-white light.
