Design
A total of 30 modern LED lamps make the Kelvin LED from Flos the designer light of the next generation. This table lamp is the perfect combination of user-friendly handling and excellent design. By equipping it with 30 high-performance light-emitting diodes, the designer Antonio Citterio takes his designer light into the next generation. Whether with a black, white, shiny chrome or a matt anthracite surface finish: the elegant Flos Kelvin LED table light visually upgrades its surrounding area. The space-saving base and the pivotable arm of this table lamp are made of fine aluminium and impress by an excellent workmanship, just like the light head equipped with symmetrically arranged LEDs. The sophisticated functionality and the refined design are combined to form a harmonious unit in the case of the Kelvin LED.

Kelvin LED table lights: the next evolutionary stage
The classic double pantograph arm of the Flos Kelvin LED allows for a truly flexible adjustment of the light. Moreover, the geometrically designed head of the table lamp can be rotated and thus the light cone can be comfortably and purposefully directed to where it is needed. However, this is not all: its sophisticated soft-touch dimmer on the light head allows the Kelvin LED table lamp to reach the next evolutionary step. By holding the soft-touch switch on the light head for more than three seconds the "Green Mode" is activated. In this mode, the table lamp from Flos automatically adjusts the lighting conditions according to the environment, i.e. the light intensity is reduced or increased depending on the brightness in the surrounding area. Additionally, the Kelvin LED is equipped with highly efficient LED lamps that only need a power input of 7.5 watts to produce a luminous flux of 375 lumens. The colour rendering is also surprisingly well with Ra=95.

I bought this table lamp in anthracite. I noticed that this Kelvin light always received good customer ratings, not only here at light11. I placed it on my bedside table where it serves as a reading light. I am very satisfied with the look, the light as well as the handling of the Kelvin LED. At first I bought this light provided with a clamp in chrome for my desk and now another one with a base for the bedroom, also in chrome.
1. Design: a highlight in terms of aesthetics, pure high-tech and elegant.
2. Function: easy to use, the swivel arm is sufficiently long to completely and brightly illuminate the reading area on my bed, easily rotatable; the base is large, heavy and stable, it is not shaky.
3. The cable is integrated in the hinged arm, hardly visible, transparent power cable to the socket, sufficiently long, international plugs were supplied.
4. Touch screen: works faultlessly, very bright light, dimmable, the light can be swivelled easily, very low heat emission.
5. Workmanship: top quality without any defects.
6. Assembly: the swivel arm is simply plugged into the base and ready you are – it can be rotated instantly.
7. Packaging: well protected for transport.
I can only recommend light11.

After I thought that it had to be one of the classics - Artemide Tolomeo or Tizio (there are already two of the former in the bedroom as a reading light and as a Mega as well as Sospensione in use in the living room) - then came the desire for something new. That's when I came across Flos Kelvin. I ordered it blindly and I am EXCITED. In white paint, it is now first on our white low board and is a feast for the eyes. Stylishly convincing in a minimalistic Apple design, it discreetly fits in the room. Clearly designed, sophisticated and variably adjustable. Also well made. Simply a beautiful piece of light. Speaking of which - the light! The lamp is switched on via a touch-sensitive sensor on the bulb "shade." A slight short waver of your finger over the sensor is enough and the bulb will turn on. The LED's can be controlled in several levels. There are three brightness levels in the normal mode. There is also the "Green" mode. This can also be adjusted via the sensor and then automatically controls the light intensity. The brightness in the most intensive light condition is absolutely sufficient a desk light (I have to remind myself that I bought it for this purpose). The light is flat and bright, but not bothersome. The LED's distribute the light without diffusing it. The more I think about it, it will probably remain where it is. The office probably needs a second one. The Flos Kelvin will perfectly serve those who are looking for a minimalistic, timelessly designed light. The Flos Kelvin LED is virtually the ideal solution for use on the desk. Thus, the table lamp from the Italian light manufacturer Flos suffuses the desk with effective, glare-free light and thereby ensures ideal conditions for pleasant working.
