Design

In 1954, the legendary designer Achille Castiglioni created the Luminator light for Flos: a floor lamp that attracts all the attention with its delicate look and that has lost none of its appeal to this day. Doubtlessly the Flos Luminator is one of the masterpieces from the Italian premium manufacturer. The floor uplighter made of enamelled, sintered iron impresses by a reduced design language. The shaft rests on three filigree legs. Furthermore, the three-legged base ensures the optimum stability of the light fixture. This floor lamp was awarded the coveted Compasso d'Oro-ADI.

The Flos Luminator serves as an elegant floor uplighter that directs its entire light towards the ceiling. From there, the softly glare-free and diffused light is reflected into the room and thereby creates a harmonious atmosphere within the room. This floor lamp is switched on and off by means of a practical foot-operated switch on the supply line. The Luminator is supplied including a 105 W halogen light bulb. These lamps stand out for an excellent colour rendering and a particularly pleasant light. This means that the room brilliantly shines in the light emitted by this floor lamp from Flos.

Floor lamps with a pleasant lighting effect

Thanks to its direct, pleasant distribution of the light, the Flos Luminator is ideally suited to supply ambient lighting in the dining room and the living room. In the bedroom or the home office, this floor lamp additionally cuts a great figure with its soft, warm-white light and thereby also creates a pleasant ambience.
