Design

The Flos Romeo Moon S1 skilfully combines modern technology with timeless design. For instance, the cone-shaped, transparent shade of the pendant light is made of ribbed pressed glass. On the inside, a diffuser made of etched and satin-finished borosilicate glass is located that provides for a good glare control. The diffuser bracket of the pendant light is made of injection-moulded polycarbonate. The ceiling bracket is made of zinc-plated cast iron. The stylish and attractive Romeo Moon S1 was created by the star designer Philippe Starck. The French designer is one of the best-known representatives of "new design", his works have collector’s value. Starck is known for merging old, familiar things with fresh elements – this can be seen based on the characteristic corrugation.

Romeo Moon S1 pendant lights: pleasant and glare-free lighting

The Flos Romeo Moon S1 primarily emits its light upwards and downwards in a focused manner and thereby creates a harmonious basic lighting. Thanks to the transparent outer glass shade, the pendant light additionally softly distributes its light to all sides. light11 recommends using halogen lamps with a maximum power of 150 watts for the Romeo Moon S1. These lamps are known for a brilliant colour rendering. In this way, the pendant light by Flos suffuses its surrounding area with pleasant light.

Installed about 60 cm above the tabletop, the Flos Romeo Moon S1 combines a focused illumination of the dining table with homely ambient lighting. For instance, the pendant light suffuses the food and drinks with a cosy light. Moreover, the Romeo Moon S1 provides the kitchen or the dining room with a homely and pleasant mood. The pendant light by Flos is suitable for rooms with a ceiling height between 2.4 m and 5.5 m. Its warm-white light pampers rectangular dining tables with a width of up to 90 cm and round dining tables with a diameter of up to 120 cm.
