Design

Thanks to its clear, rectangular shape in combination with the high-quality materials, the Flos Tight Light creates a particular aesthetics within the room that is not only a real enrichment for a modernly furnished home. The white luminaire body is made of lacquered aluminium. The diffusers made of acrylic glass integrated in the housing diffuse indirect, bright light into the room. The multiple-award winning designer Piero Lissoni created the Tight Light for the Italian premium brand Flos. Lissoni works as an architect, art director and designer. In his studio, he designs pieces for numerous well-known manufacturers of designer furniture and designer lights.

Purist design

The Tight Light follows a strict formal principle. All of its elements form right angles with one another.

Heat management

The integrated LEDs are cooled by means of two ventilation slots on the rear side.

Tight Light wall lights: brightly illuminated with a low consumption

Despite the high light intensity the Flos Tight Light is very economical. The warm-white light with a colour temperature of 3,000 Kelvin creates a pleasant atmosphere within the room. With a colour rendering index of Ra=80 the Tight Light also offers a great quality in this respect. The two-lamp wall light only requires a power input of 20 watts (2x 10 W LEDs) to achieve an amazing light output of 2,110 lumens – even a conventional 100 W incandescent lamp cannot reach this brightness level.
