The Fontana Arte Fontana table lamp is an absolutely timeless design classic with its roots reaching back to the 1950s. The creation by Max Ingrand impresses by its aesthetic design that primarily derives its fascination from the bulbous base. Except from the frame made of white lacquered metal, the Fontana Arte Fontana table lamp is completely made of two-layer, hand-blown and satin-finished crystal glass.

Designer

The design of the Fontana table lamp was penned by Max Ingrand who created the reading light in 1954 for the manufacturer Fontana Arte.

Fontana table lamp – separately switched lamps

The Fontana Arte Fontana table lamp convinces with a particularly uniform, soft light. It offers several light sources which can be individually turned on and off by means of a special switch. This allows for the creation of various lighting effects. The piccola and media versions each require three illuminants, which are hidden under the lampshade and in the bulbous base. The grande version of the Fontana table lamp, requires a total of seven light sources. Then, not only the cone-shaped lampshade and the bulbous base are lit; the grande version also offers light directed upwards that functions as an uplight.
