Design

The Foscarini Circus Parete/Soffitto grande is a well-shaped and discreet wall lamp. Its shiny polished diffuser is made of mouth-blown opal glass, which forms a hollow in the middle of the round shade. The Circus Parete/Soffitto embodies the concentrated competence of Venetian glassblowing. The wall lamp from the Italian luminaire manufacturer Foscarini is topped off by a cap placed in the central recess. With its four small holes in the centre, it is reminiscent of a button. The wall lamp designed by Defne Koz has thus become a tasteful eye-catcher that blends discreetly into practically any interior.

Designer

Defne Koz created the Circus Parete/ Soffitto grande in 1994 for the manufacturer Foscarini.

Circus Parete/Soffitto grande: harmonious room light

Like a large luminous ring, the Foscarini Circus Parete/Soffitto grande radiates soft, diffuse light into the room. This results in harmonious ambient lighting that creates a cosy atmosphere. Thanks to the opal glass used, the emitted light is gently diffused and glare-free. The Foscarini wall lamp requires four lamps with an E27 base. Both halogen lamps and LED retrofits are suitable for this. The Circus can furthermore be used as a wall or ceiling luminaire.
