Design

The charming design of the Foscarini Havana, which looks a bit like an oversized cigar, has made this lamp world famous – it can even be seen in the permanent collection of the MoMA in New York. The Foscarini Havana Outdoor Terra Bassa with ground spike is the outdoor version of this modern classic. Its entire diffuser is made of a single body of white rotation-moulded pressed polyethylene. The lamp is a creation of the American designer Jozeph Forakis and is kept in discreet white.

The Havana Outdoor Terra Bassa with ground spike Lighting for the garden was designed by Jozeph Forakis in 2005 for Foscarini.

Havana Outdoor Terra Bassa with ground spike – diffuse lighting effect

The Foscarini Havana Outdoor Terra Bassa distributes its light softly and evenly in all directions. It can be easily repositioned using the supplied ground spike. This ensures flexible harmonious outdoor lighting. It is both dustproof and protected against water jets in accordance with protection class IP 65. A lamp with an E27 base is used as light source; light11 recommends halogen lamps for warm white light and brilliant colour rendering.
