Design

The special characteristic feature of the Foscarini Magneto Terra is a round rare-earth magnet that connects the light rod and the LED light head just like a hinge. A further distinctive feature of this floor lamp is its graceful look. The elegant design is slightly reminiscent of a stylish tripod with a microphone at the top. This way, elegant aesthetics are combined with a hefty pinch of originality. The Magneto reading light is made of powder-coated stainless steel (base) and ABS plastic (light head) – it is available with classic white and black surface finishes.

Magneto Terra – a new level of flexibility

The said magnet can be freely attached along the pole. Subsequently, the light head can be attached to the magnet. In this constellation, the light head can be pivoted as required so that the Foscarini Magneto Terra offers the highest degree of individual light adjustment. Thus, the light head can be, for instance, directed towards a certain object which then shines in clear zone light. If you direct the light upwards the Foscarini Magneto Terra provides for a pleasant portion of indirect, warm-white and diffuse ambient lighting. But that is not all it has to offer in terms of flexibility: the light base of the Magneto can additionally be completely turned on its own axis and therefore presents itself as extremely user-friendly.

The Foscarini Magneto is equipped with a 5 W LED that supplies warm-white light with a colour temperature of 2,700 Kelvin and ensures a light output of 475 lumens. LED lamps are considered as a prime example for energy efficiency and sustainability. As such, they are good for both, the household budget as well as the climate.
