Design

The Rituals Sospensione is an impressive representation of sophisticated craftsmanship. The pendant light that reminds us of a lantern made of Japan paper is manufactured as part of a complex procedure on the island of Murano: by means of a special mould, the hand-blown Murano glass is provided with the charming grooves that dominate the surface of the Foscarini Rituals Sospensione in the form of concentric circles. Subsequently, it is filed by hand before it is immersed in an acid bath which gives this pendant light its slightly chalky look. The Rituals is available in two differently sized oblong and a bulbous version.

Designer

The Rituals Sospensione light was designed by Ludovica Palomba and Roberto Palomba in 2013 for Foscarini.

Rituals Sospensione – uniform, harmonious ambient lighting

The Foscarini Rituals pendant light produces soft lighting that is uniformly diffused in all directions. This way, this designer light provides for a balanced basic lighting within the room. Here, the horizontal corrugations provide for an unobtrusively decorative lighting effect. The Rituals pendant light is provided with an E27 socket and is delivered without any illuminant. The halogen lamps recommended by light11 supply powerful, warm light with an authentic colour rendering.
