Design

The Foscarini Tress Sospensione, here, in the medium-sized version, impresses by its extraordinary shade. It is manufactured as part of a sophisticated procedure using a composite material with a glass fibre basis. The distinctive feature of the Tress media Sospensione are the differently sized recesses that allow for an insight into the pendant light’s interior and also provide for a harmonious illumination particularly when the light is switched on. The French designer Marc Sadler created the Foscarini Tress Sospensione which is available in several colours.

The design of the Tress media Sospensione was penned by Marc Sadler who created the Pendant lights in 2009 for the manufacturer Foscarini.

Tress media Sospensione – zone lighting with an additional light show

The Foscarini Tress pendant light emits most of its light directly downwards. A further part of the light escapes in all directions through the recesses in the shade and thereby creates a spectacular presentation of light and shadow. At the same time, the Tress media Sospensione from Foscarini shines in its own light that is supplied through this pendant light’s body. The brightness can be adjusted by means of a universal dimmer. light11 recommends using a halogen lamp for this light fixture. It is particularly exemplary in terms of the colour rendering.
