Design

The Twice as Twiggy Terra from Foscarini presents itself as the oversized version of the iconic light. This design by Marc Sadler from 2006, winner of many renowned awards, attained great popularity e.g. thanks to its extraordinarily filigree look. The Foscarini Twice as Twiggy achieves the seemingly impossible: gaining in size without losing any of its grace. This means that the arc-shaped light arm that looks like a fishing rod could maintain its slim diameter thanks to thin steel cables. The arc lamp is available in many colours, for instance, carmine red and blue.

The Twice as Twiggy Terra LED was designed by Marc Sadler for Foscarini in 2015.

Twice as Twiggy Terra – a lot of light emitted upwards and downwards

The Foscarini Twice as Twiggy emits its warm-white light upwards and downwards. For this purpose, it offers an enormous luminous flux of 8,530 lumens. Consequently, the large table lamp ensures a focused illumination of the area below it. Moreover, the light emitted upwards contributes to creating ambient lighting. The Twice as Twiggy Terra turns out to be very flexible despite its impressive size since its shaft may be adjusted in length and height by means of counterweights.
