Design

The Fritz Hansen Kaiser idell 6631 P is the pendant light variant of a true design legend. This legend was born as a table lamp in the 1930s, and reached the peak of its fame in the 1960s as a "police inspector lamp" which was rarely missing from the desk of a TV investigator. There was hardly a case that was not solved in the light of this table lamp. The 6631 P boasts the same stylishly functional appearance of its predecessor which was so typical of the Bauhaus era. The pendant light inherited the lampshade of the table lamp: slightly asymmetrical, glossy, wet painted by hand. Contrary to the table lamp, where the lamp socket is placed laterally offset on the lampshade, the lamp socket is located in the centre. This gives the Fritz Hansen KAISER idell 6631 P a more harmonious overall impression. The lamp body is suspended from a high-quality fabric covered cable. The ceiling canopy is made chromed brass, and refers to the shape of the lamp socket on top of the lampshade.

Christian Dell created the KAISER idell 6631 P pendant light which was released by Fritz Hansen in 2010.

Kaiser idell 6631 P – accentuating zone light

The elegant and at the same time puristic shape of the Fritz Hansen KAISER idell 6631 P is accompanied by fabulous lighting. The pendant light emits its light directly downwards, illuminating the area underneath with accentuating zone light. In doing so, the KAISER idell 6631 P always provides optimal glare control. The pendant light is supplied without lamps. In order to operate, it requires an illuminant with an E27 base. The maximum power consumption should not exceed 60 watts. It is recommended to use a halogen lamp for warm white light with a perfect colour rendering index.
