Gubi Gravity floor lamp – playing with opposites

Light against heavy, robust against filigree: the Gubi Gravity floor lamp consists of very contrasting materials and thereby demonstrates an interesting arrangement. The Danish design studio Space Copenhagen contrasts a solid cylindrical base made of marble or steel (depending on the selected variant) with a delicate shade made of linen or fine plastic. In this way, the Gravity floor lamp becomes an unusual design object that develops its special attraction through the diversity of its materials.

The Gubi Gravity floor lamp emits its light evenly in all directions. The lightweight lampshade diffuses the emitted light and distributes it softly in the surrounding area. In this way, the floor lamp creates harmonious, particularly soft ambient light, and thereby creates a cosy atmosphere, for instance, in a living room.
