Design

The hand-made wings from genuine goose feathers are the distinctive feature of the Ingo Maurer Lucellino Tavolo table lamp. These feathers are held by a high-quality brass socket that also serves as the lamp holder. This arrangement is seated on a flexible brass wire. The red power cable smoothly climbs up this brass wire. The lower end of this modern, likable and charismatic design classic from 1992 forms the slightly bevelled, round luminaire base.

Lucellino is a play on words and consists of "Luce", the Italian term for light, and "uccellino", the Italian term for little bird.
