Ingo Maurer Yayaho Part A

This product by Ingo Maurer represents Part A of the YaYaHo system, the transformer, which reduces 230/125 volts to 12 volts. It is designed for a maximum power of 200 W. The transformer is equipped with an electronic power monitor, the so-called Watch Tronic, and a thermal fuse. It is suitable for ceiling as well as for wall installation.
With YaYaHo everyone can individually put together one’s own lighting system. What you definitely need for this purpose is the transformer (Part A), the special cable systems (Part B) and, of course, the elements that can be freely combined. Please observe that the transformer is only designed for up to 200 W. If you need a higher wattage or a cable length of more than 10 m, you require Part D. This product has a length of 2 x 6 m and two insulation units with a ceiling suspension. This insulation units allow you to use 2 transformers and thus a maximum capacity of 400 W. Additionally, you have the possibility to use Part B (two special cable systems with 4 wall brackets and insulated turnbuckles) in various lengths as often as required. For this purpose, please additionally order the insulating parts with ceiling suspension as this enables you to interconnect the cables and, at the same time, to keep the transformers technically separated.
