Design

The IP44.de Gap X is a wedge-shaped wall light with a horizontal alignment. There is a light emission aperture at the bottom and at the top which are covered with opal glass that is bevelled towards the wall. The high-quality, powder-coated aluminium body is slightly narrower towards the front compared to the base which breaks up the sober, purpose-oriented shape. The Gap X from the German exterior lighting specialist IP44.de provides for s tasteful and durable façade illumination in the entire outdoor area.

Klaus Nolting designed the Gap X Wall lights in 2015 for the manufacturer IP44.de.

Characteristic gap

The light opening is encircled by a narrow gap that allows rain water to drain.

Gap X – wall lights with efficient and durable LED technology

Thanks to the two light-emission apertures on the top and bottom side of the IP44.de Gap X, a wide, bright light cones is created on the façade. Owing to the efficient LED lamps, the wall light only requires 12 watts to produce a luminous flux of 750 lumens. This means that it is almost as effective as a 60 W incandescent lamp. The actual highlight of the LED technology of the Gap X, however, is the IvyLight technology. This exclusive concept allows for an excellent heat management for the LED modules and thereby ensures a particularly long service life. For this reason, the LEDs of the wall lamp from IP44.de offers a service life of up to 50,000 hours which corresponds to an operating period of 45 years based on three hours of operation per day.

Wall light for illuminating the facade, the balcony and the terrace

As it is designed in accordance with protection type IP65, the IP44.de Gap X is ideally suited for illuminating facades, balconies, terraces and entrance gates. Moreover, the wall lamp does not require a canopy as a shelter since it is dust-proof and protected against splashing water coming from any angle. The two-sided light emission allows a façade to be accentuated in a fascinating way, while it simultaneously provides sufficient guidance in the dark.
