Design

The IP44.de Shot LED is more than a simple floor light. It consists of two parts: a solid sphere made of cast aluminium and an aluminium base that holds the sphere in place. The Shot LED combines the functionality of a spotlight with the fascinating appearance of a designer object. Thus, it is not a surprise that the luminaire was honoured with the iF Design Award 2017. Furthermore, the floor light by the German specialist for outdoor lighting, IP44.de, is equipped with a flood reflector that has a honeycomb structure and the illuminant is protected by a sheet of glass.

The design of the IP44.de Shot LED was penned by Sebastian David Büscher.

Shot LED: mobile spotlight for outdoors

Just like a spotlight or flood light, the IP44.de Shot LED offers accentuating light for outdoor areas. A pattern of black dots along the rim of the protective glass softens the edges of the light beam. Thanks to a five meter long supply line including a plug, the Shot LED may be placed nearly anywhere you wish. This also allows you to flexibly change the location of the floor light if you need its light somewhere else. However most importantly, the luminaire by IP44.de is dust-tight and protected against damage from water jets from any direction.

Shot LED floor lights for accentuating light in outdoor areas

The IP44.de Shot LED provides for exciting highlights in the outdoor area. It may be placed on soft grounds as well as solid grounds. For the latter, the floor light comes with a foot for a secure stand. On the lawn or in a flowerbed, the Shot LED can be placed onto the ground without a foot. However, please note that the IP44.de spotlight may not be covered completely by soil.
