Design

Simple and functional: with the IP44.de Slat Spike LED, the focus is clearly on objectiveness. The floor light made in Germany comes without unnecessary frills, and instead, impresses with a clear design and high-quality materials. The Slat Spike LED consists of an orientable "light bar" made of powder-coated cast aluminium. Its light opening is covered by a sheet of satin-finished safety glass and the earth spike is manufactured from powder-coated stainless steel. The design was penned by Klaus Nolting, who has won coveted awards, such as the iF Design Award and the Red Dot Award, for the original design of the Slat.

The design of the Slat Spike LED was penned by Klaus Nolting who created this luminaire in 2016 for the manufacturer IP44.de.

Slat Spike LED – rotating "light bar"

Behind its simple design, the IP44.de Slat Spike LED hides a user-friendly flexibility. Its oblong lamp head can be rotated by 240°. This allows you to adjust the light direction precisely as desired. The light emitted by the Slat Spike is diffused for a harmonious lighting of the selected area. The outdoor light is delivered ready for connection, including a 5 m supply cable with safety plug. Thanks to the IvyLight-technology, the IP44.de Slat Spike LED stands out for an exemplarily energy-efficient and long-living lighting of up to 50,000 hours. Rated IP65, the floor light is, of course, protected against the ingress of dust and jets of water.

Slat Spike LED for a better orientation in the outdoor area

The IP44.de Slat Spike LED is suitable for unpaved flower beds and green spaces. There, the floor light creates atmospheric island of light, for instance, along a path. In doing so, the Slat Spike LED ensures safe movement in the dark, by providing clear sight and with it, a better orientation. The path light by IP44.de is also recommended as a marker light, for instance, to highlight the border between the terrace and the lawn.
