It's about RoMi stands for simple, expressive designs and pure materials. The company was founded in 1993 by Rob van Dijk, Norma Jean Lugten and Michiel van Mierlo in Amsterdam. Today, the headquarters are located there in one of the oldest canals in the world.

Sustainability plays a major role at It's about RoMi. In the early 2010s, the manufacturer experimented with biodegradable bamboo lights. However, as a few products were not enough for the company, It's about RoMi expanded its research and finally launched Good & Mojo, its first sustainable lighting brand, in 2016.
Good & Mojo develops plant-based lighting made from natural materials. The lights are largely created through artisanal manufacturing in Southeast Asia. In doing so, Good & Mojo supports local craftsmanship in the region. The company is committed to reforestation projects and is socially as well as ecologically engaged.
The brand's range includes many lights made of bamboo, jute, rattan and co, which enrich your interior with their decorative designs and cozy light.
It's about RoMi – a tree for every lamp
It's about RoMi has been a partner of the non-profit organization Eden Reforestation Projects since 2019. For every lamp It's about RoMi sells, the organization plants a tree. This helps the climate, but also the local people. Because these donations create fair employment for people living in poverty.
Since 2019, more than 230,000 trees have already been planted. By 2030, the manufacturer wants to crack the 1 million mark. By purchasing an It's about RoMi luminaire, you help the company achieve this goal.
