Design

“Unusual yet functional” is the motto of Markus Johansson, the designer of the Le Klint Carronade floor lamp Low. Inspired by ship cannons on warships of the 18th century, the Danish designer talent shaped the lamp head of this floor lamp into a cylinder. With high-quality materials, such as American walnut wood, brass and aluminium combined with a filigree structure, the designer brings out the vintage appearance of the Carronade Low. In this way, the floor lamp by the traditional Danish company Le Klint is characterised by both style and functionality.

Carronade Low: flexible reading light

Like a small “light cannon”, the Le Klint Carronade floor lamp provides precise zone light. You can easily rotate and tilt the lamp head as desired thanks to a fork joint. Furthermore, you may adjust the height by means of the jointed lamp arm. A practical foot switch on the supply line allows you to turn the Carronade on and off without having to bend down. In order to maximise the lighting effect of your luminaire, light11 recommends using an LED retrofit lamp, as it provides a large amount of light while consuming only little energy.
